Additional Views Through a Phone in Square Format
There is something so fascinating about square-format photographs. They are difficult to compose, but when you get it right, it can be so satisfying.
Instagram is a wonderful playground for me to look through the world one square at a time. It is a modern-day throwback to shooting film on a Hasselblad or Holga toy camera, which I loved to do in college, and still do, when I have the time. I’m also impressed with the ever-increasing capabilities of phone cameras these days, I like to focus my Instagram images on simply what the tiny camera in my phone can see and nothing more.
